Jinnah Medical College commonly known as JMC is private sector medical college in Peshawar, KPK. The institution was established in 2002. The institute got recognition from Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM & DC) in the year 2009. The college is affiliated with Khyber Medical University (KMC). The building of institution is situated in main Warsak Road. It is the area that is now becoming educational hub of KPK. The main reason of formation of institution is providing word class education in the field of medicine. The institute is using modern methods for educating the students. The campus building of the institute has houses many departments, laboratories, library, dissection room, auditorium and cafeteria. Apart from above there is also admin block in campus building. There is still wide open area which is suitable for the expansion of the building.

Degrees Offered:

The institute offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. The degree is a five years of academic studies. Admissions are offered annually by the JMC. The degree is awarding in affiliation with khyber Medical College, Pehawar. The course contents and curriculum is designed according to the Pakistan Medical and dental Council regulations, which is a regulating body of medical degrees in Pakistan.

Admission Procedure:

Admission is announced annually on official website of the college or through the national print media. Admission forms can be obtained along with prospectus with all information and dates can be collected from the admission office after paying of prescribed processing fee.

Eligibility Criteria:

For admission the candidate must pass the FSc (Pre medical) with at least 60% marks. Students of A-Level background (with biology, chemistry and physics) are required to produce equivalent certificates from the IBCC.
